Developing Senses in the kitchen

Blindness is no obstacle for cooking. Such is the example Chef Christian Sainz gives us everyday.

He offers different plates in his restaurant without being able to look at what he is cooking.

It is the rest of his senses that allow him to prepare exquisite dishes with the right cooking point.
According to Chef Sainz, a lot of information is transmitted by food through smells, sounds, he can even find out when a crepe is ready just by hearing it on the pan.
Christian obviously counts with a bunch of utensils with braille info. And, as he says, even though he can count on his utensils and senses, he “puts his eyes in every meal”. Undoubtely, he has a great sense of humor.
